Searching for a Star – Our First Ever SFAS Competition for Adults!
Each year after the youth competition we received calls asking when SFAS will sponsor a competition for those over 18.

ATTENTION!  SFAS presents our fall contest for adults!  We are anxious to see if we can have as much fun highlighting the talent of our adult singers as we have had in the past with our youth!

How Can You Participate?
Searching for a Star is seeking singers for three (3) age categories:  19 – 39, 40 – 54 and 55 years and older. If you want to participate you will have to audition for a spot in the competition.  Audition is on Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 2pm until 5pm. Presenting songs of their choice, singers can audition a’ capalla or bring a music track without lead vocals to sing with. There will be a three (3) judge panel to rate your performance.  Performers must be on time in order to audition, those arriving after 5 pm will not be permitted to audition.  Performers will compete against singers in their age category.

What are the costs?
There is no charge for the audition.  Performers selected into the competition will be charged a non-refundable $50 registration fee. Registration forms can be found on the SFAS website under the How to Audition tab on the home page.
