Don’t Miss NBC’s “THE VOICE” Tonight May be Taylor’s Night!

I recently got some great news about our 2008 searching for a star winner-Taylor Beckham, she has been selected to  compete in the blind auditions of NBC’s The Voice. There is a chance that Taylor could air tonight, April 1 or tomorrow April 2nd.

The final blind auditions are next week so if Taylor does not perform this week it will be for certain that she will next week.  All Searching for a Star fans are invited to tune in on those dates to see Taylor perform!  We are very excited for her and know that her family is very proud of her!

Braxton Beckham, Taylor’s brother has also been busy; he  appeared last week on NCIS! I hope you caught the show!  It was cool to see Braxton’s acting skills; I was so proud to see him.   I know for sure one day we will see him on the big screen! During the 2007 and 2008 SFAS competition Taylor became a favorite of many Wylie and Sachse fans.   In 2008 11 year old Taylor became the pride of Sachse and her Mayor, Mike Felix when she was crowned over-all winner of the competition!

I am proud to say that Taylor and Braxton both attended Ballard School of Performing Arts!  If you would like to see clips of Taylor singing her winning song “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” go to the searching for a star website click on galleries and go to 2008 videos.  You can Like and follow Taylor and Braxton on Face book!

I have been awaiting this moment from Taylor; even as a little one, she had such a big voice!

I’m looking for big things out of other searching for a star performers. Our first winner Jonathan Pilgrim is now teaching at Baylor University,  Ashley Lee-runner-up to Taylor in the 2008  competition has recorded her first CD and is currently working on other songs. Ashley can be seen on many YouTube videos and has recorded in Nashville and is performing all all over Texas!  D’Moreya Woods our 2009 winner is living in Atlanta and working with Usher’s camp. I look for big things out of our newest winners also: Brittany Thomas, Clay Mobley,Yaminah Lewis, Olivia Sanborn, Kendall Shaw and our 2012 winner Mara Dondyano.  They all have very great potential,  I look forward to them making their mark on society too!

The message is clear to all of our stars; Taylor’s appearance on THE VOICE proves that if you stay busy and keep singing good things will happen!

Good Luck Taylor…. Turn those chairs!

Rob Hunter
