Last year we had a wonderful group of children and young adults perfom  in our 3rd annual SFAS Competition! I am so pleased that we are now able to present some of our stars in song.  In the next month some of our stars will be going into the studio to record a CD…Searching for a Star’s Best of 2009!

Here are samples of songs by three (3) of our singers. They thrilled the crowds as they stood before us and gave their best.

So that you the public and parents of future potential SFAS Performers take intrest in the importance of what we do for our stars in our programs, this is a sample of some of the voices of our stars. Before you listen, let me paint a picture of the auditoriaum where these live performances were recorded. It’s 6:00pm Firday eve on April 4, 2009. The auditorium is filled with anxious performers and their parents and supporters. The judges table is set 20 feet from the stage with 5 judges waiting to score our stars.  The sound man has his eqipment ready, the videographer is posed and the photographer is pacing and shooting. The room is electric in anticipation as the first performer is set to take the stage!

The MC then welcomes the audience and introduces the dignitaries and the performers…and the show begins with thunderous applause as the first performer takes the stage!   It really is exciting, you’ll just have to be at the 4th annual SFAS competition to see and feel it for yourselves!

D’Moreya Woods was the over-all winner last year, but I have to tell you, all of our stars performed well.   To see and hear more of our performers click the galleries tab and go to pictures or videos!
