The New Kids on the Block…

Texas State Optical Staff

Meet the staff at Texas State Optical
SPOTLIGHT ON OUR SPONSORS…
I am a guitar instructor…I read dots and dashes on lines and spaces; then interpret  what I see by playing my guitar. One day while giving a lesson my student was playing just fine until he got to the “E” on the music staff. I said to him, are you having trouble playing that “E”? The student said “huh”? “Can’t you tell that that note is a “E” I asked?  My student with a puzzled look on his face said, it looks like a “C” to me”… He was right!

On another occasion while minding the store a customer came in and asked for help purchasing a book. She found the one that she wanted and asked me how much it cost  As I was reading the price the customer said to me…”boy do you need glasses”!  I realized then that holding the book 3 inches from my face let her know just  how bad my eyes really were!

During spring break this year I drove to North Carolina. Most of my driving was at night. I  got really concerned when the middle line dividing the highway turned into two and I didn’t know which one was correct….That was the last straw…I had to do something!

It wasn’t long after that, that I crossed Ballard Street to visit the new place that had just opened; Texas State Optical.  I’ve been to many eye clinics before but when I met  Beth and her team I knew this clinic was different. What a great 1st impression!  From the first time that I walked into the clinic I was a sold customer.  Dr. Beth Anderson is by far the best eye care specialist that I have had…no kidding I don’t  just pass out compliments without having them backed by the truth…She is great at what she does and has my complete confidence.

Beth and her staff truly cares about their patients.  They have exceeded  my expectations.  Like the song goes;  I once was blind (well almost),  but now I can really see thanks to Texas State Optical.   Dr. Anderson directed me to the right surgical clinic (Clearview in South Fork) whose staff took very good care of me too…

After Surgery…
One night about a week or two ago I was sitting out on my patio.   It was a beautiful night;  the moon was bright and it was just so peaceful.  I looked up into the sky and to my amazement I could see the “Big Dipper”;  it was so clear!   How amazing was that!  I could see the stars and I wasn’t wearing  glasses!  I have not been able to see without glasses since I was in high school…  What a trip!

Thank you team Texas State Optical; thank you Dr Beth Anderson!
