DANCE MUSIC…THE DISCO ERA

I have gotten lots of emails and calls with questions about the next song category?  I must tell you, I have had lots of fun holding on to this secret,  but  all good fun has to come to an end.   I must tell you though, If you could only have seen my face when inquisitive minds wanted to know,  you would have seen this enormous grin  just like that of the Cheshire  cat come over my face… oh  what a feeling!..

 

 

 

Anyway here we go,  the category for the May 21st performance  is: Popular Dance Hits 1980 to 1989 (The Disco 80’s)   This category is not an easy one. The music of this “Disco Period”  is high energy and the stars must choose the right songs to win the crowd and the judges over…
Stars….when you perform on this night, you will have to “bring it”  in order to get to the semi-finals!  Good luck!

All shows are open to the public; the performances are great, bring the whole family!

THE FINALS…
On May 27th & 28th we will host the semi finals and the finals of this year’s Searching for a Star Competition. It is a special event, one you won’t want to miss. Come out and experience the best that our new stage performers have to offer. Cities/Towns represented by your  performers please come out and support!  These performers are also students representing the schools that they attend. The over-all performer will receive $500 to donate to the music department of the school that they attend….Please come out and support those that represent you!
