Round one… The stage course is over and for the first time this season the judges scores count!  I want to commend all of the teams and especially the stars on the progress that they have made over the past  9 weeks…with assurance I can say that all of you looked and sounded much better on the stage than you did when you started  just a few weeks ago!
 
As I said last night, this is the part of the Searching for a Star program that is most difficult for me.  In my eyes  all  23 performers are stars, and if  possible,  all 23 would move on to the next round, but this is a competition!

 

I want to encourage the stars who will not go on to the next round…this is not the end of your journey, but the beginning.  You are a part of the Searching  for a Star Family and will always hold that position.   So now is the time to show  the  character that this program has instilled in you.  It is impotant  that you continue to give your support to those of you that move on to the next rounds, they are your friends continue to support them.   

There are three (3)  important dates left in this years competition they  are: May21…round 2, May 27…the semi-finals and lastly, May 28…THE MAIN EVENT—THE FINALS!    It’s time to step it up!  The scores were really close last night.  The difference of moving on to the next round was determined by tenths of a point!   Those of you going on to round two  need to STEP IT UP!
