The votes are in and our 2010 SFAS contestants have been chosen! Parents, friends and relatives, I hope that you enjoyed our star’s performances today. Please realize that all of the performers that took the stage today deserve a great round of applause for taking the first step to becoming better performers.
2010 Stars, all of you that weren’t fully satisfied with your performance, don’t worry , hang in there; I assure you that you will have satisfying performances. Those of you who think that you performed great, think again…I viewed every performance, and there is lots of room for improvement in all of the performances. If you all work hard you will all improve!

Find Your Voice!
You all have your own voice, If you don’t know where to find it, then maybe this will help. Your voice is the one that people recognize when you answer the phone, call out to your friends or when you yell at brother or sis….your voice is unique, it is the one that you are most familiar with…you use it everyday, learn to use it in your song. Find a song by an original artist, and once learned, substitute your voice in the place of the original singer….During the SFAS stage course put energy into finding your own voice!
What’s The Next Step?
The first two (2) rounds will be singers choice; yes you have the freedom to choose what song you sing, but be careful…when competition begins choosing the right song could make….or break you. Be assertive and get out of the box that you frequently find yourself; search for a new song, a new style; being versatile will prove to be a help to you down the road!

PLEASE READ THIS WELL…This course is designed to have you meet a schedule; I will try to make all instructions as clear and understandable as possible. Make sure that you follow instructions well.
1. I need the name and artist of the song that you will sing on March 26th. Make certain that I receive it on or before Friday March 12, 2010.
2. You can deliver the song in CD form to Ballard School or you can email it to me at: staradvisoryboard@verizon.net
all songs must be music tracks without lead vocals. Please make sure that there is ONLY ONE SONG on the CD!!
3. Your song choice for the second live performance (April 2, 2010) is due on or before Friday March 26th. If you have the song in CD form, you may bring song #2 to your first performance. Remember, only one (1) song without lead vocals on the CD please!

4. Your tuition of $175.00 must be received before you perform on March 26th. The best way to pay the tuition is online through the link below:
The next time we meet will be Friday March 26, 2010. All performers must be at Park Lake Church and ready to sing at 6:30pm sharp! See you after spring break!
